Computing Hub – London and Home Counties

Langley Grammar School was designated one of the first National Computing Hubs in 2019. We work in partnership with STEM Learning, Teach Computing and other organisations to provide a range of support for primary and secondary computing teachers in schools and colleges in their area, including teaching, resources and CPD activities.

Maths Hub

There are 40 designated Maths Hubs across the country, bringing together mathematics education professionals in a collaborative national network. Each hub is locally led by an outstanding school or college, to develop and spread excellent practice, for the benefit of all pupils and students. The Bucks, Berks and Oxon (BBO) Maths Hub is based at Wycombe High School. The Maths Hub programme is supported by the National Centre for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics and funded by the DfE. The hub covers the following areas:

  • Buckinghamshire - to just north of Aylesbury
  • Berkshire - Windsor, Maidenhead, Slough
  • Oxfordshire - including Bicester, Oxford and Wantage

Science Learning Partnership

STEM Learning has a network of 50 Science Learning Partnerships delivering professional development at a local level across England. Science Learning Partnerships (SLPs) combine local expertise in teaching and learning in Science, facilitating high quality CPD through a range of full day or twilight sessions.

Our local Science Learning Partnership is St Clement Danes School in Chorleywood, working with schools within the West Herts, South Bucks, Hillingdon, Slough, Maidenhead and Marlow areas. For further information please click here.

Slough Music Service

Slough Music Service is the local music service for Slough, Berkshire, and lead organisation of the Slough Music Education Hub.

A not for profit service, part of Slough Borough Council's Education and Children's Services and funded by central government, the Music Service provides music lessons, training and events in and outside school for children and young people in Slough.
